About the artist
Sara Aksen was raised in the vibrant city of St. Petersburg, Russia, where her passion for art quickly became evident to her parents. By age seven, she enrolled in the St. Petersburg City School for the Arts.
Trained across a variety of artistic disciplines, Sara is especially drawn to painting, with a focus on idyllic nature scenes, Judaica during the Yomim Noraim, and sweeping depictions of Yerushalayim. Currently pursuing a graduate degree in art therapy, Sara hopes to merge her love of art with her deep care for people.
